About the Role Siemens Industry is seeking an
SAP Master Data Steward to support our U.S.-based manufacturing operations. Our facilities produce
high-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment and rely on accurate, reliable data to keep operations running smoothly.
In this role, you'll be responsible for
collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and improving SAP material master data to support manufacturing, supply chain, and business processes. You'll work closely with multi-functional teams and spend meaningful time on-site, ensuring SAP data aligns with real-world manufacturing activities.
Our manufacturing processes include
material handling, metal fabrication, powder coating and plating, final assembly, and quality testing.
What You'll Do SAP Master Data & Analysis - Maintain and improve data accuracy in SAP's Material Master (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules
- Support teams working with Sales & Distribution (SD) and Financial Accounting (FI) data
- Perform audits, research, and analysis to identify gaps in plant-level master data
- Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, planning, fabrication, logistics, and support functions
- Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and other plants
- Represent the plant during routine meetings with Siemens ERP and technology partners
- Analyze large data sets to support consistent and standardized master data practices
- Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve master data issues that impact operations
- Clearly communicate data challenges and downstream impacts to process owners
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) from a materials and purchasing perspective
- Ensure new materials and changes are accurately set up in SAP with minimal financial impact
- Support research, training, and improvements related to SAP functionality
- Assist with automation and system improvements supporting supply chain activities
- Validate SAP transactions against physical manufacturing processes
- Use general knowledge of IT concepts, including networking, peripherals, and basic hardware, to support daily operations
What You Bring - 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing value chain, including fabrication
- Ability to connect physical manufacturing processes with SAP-based systems
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent vocational training and professional experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications - APICS CSCP and/or CPIM
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- SAP certifications or formal SAP coursework

The pay range for this position is $137K - $184K annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
