Role description
Job Title: Salesforce Technical Lead
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid)
The Salesforce Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design development and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions
This role acts as the senior most technical expert on Salesforce projects overseeing developers enforcing coding best practices guiding architectural decisions and ensuring high quality implementations across Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud and custom Salesforce applications
Key Responsibilities
1 Technical Leadership Delivery
Lead the endtoend technical delivery of Salesforce projects ensuring solutions meet performance scalability and security standards
Oversee and mentor Salesforce developers and administrators providing guidance on Apex Lightning Web Components LWC integrations and CICD
Review solution designs and technical specifications before development begins
Own the technical backlog and coordinate with project managers and product owners to align technical priorities
2 Solution Design Development
Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications solution designs and data models
Develop highquality reusable components using
Apex classes triggers batch jobs
Lightning Web Components LWC
Flows automation tools
SOQLSOSL queries
Design secure and scalable sharing models permission sets and roles
3 Integration Ownership
Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using
REST SOAP APIs
Middleware MuleSoft Boomi Jitterbit or similar
Event driven patterns Platform Events Streaming API
Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize performance
4 Governance Best Practices
Establish enforce and evangelize Salesforce development best practices coding standards and DevOps processes
Conduct code reviews unit testing and technical QA
Ensure compliance with org limits governor limits and Salesforce security guidelines
Manage and optimize CICD pipelines Gearset Copado Jenkins Gitbased workflows
5 Cross Functional Collaboration
Work with architects analysts and business stakeholders to validate feasibility of requirements
Convert functional requirements into technical tasks for the development team
Support UAT cycles resolve defects and facilitate knowledge transfer
6 Documentation Support
Create and maintain technical documentation including
Data flow diagrams
API specifications
Deployment guides
Coding standards
Provide L3 support for complex production issues
Required Qualifications
Experience
6 - 10 years of experience working with Salesforce
3- 5 years leading Salesforce development teams or serving as a senior developer
Hands-on experience with enterprise level Salesforce implementations
Technical Skills
Expertise in Apex classes triggers asynchronous operations
Lightning Web Components LWC
SOQLSOSL
Flows and automation
Strong command of integration technologies RESTSOAP middleware eventdriven architecture
Strong understanding of Salesforce security model
