Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Salesforce Developers, 4+ years, to support enterprise-level Salesforce implementations and enhancements with a strong focus on Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud. The ideal candidates will have hands-on development experience in Salesforce technologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the DC Metro area.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications and solutions
- Work extensively on Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), and Service Cloud implementations. Sales Cloud experience is a plus.
- Develop and enhance Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Flows
- Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to work on requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, deployment activities, and production support
- Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and Federal compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and provide ongoing enhancements
Skills and Qualifications- 4-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development experience
- Mandatory experience with: Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) & Service Cloud
- Experience with Sales Cloud is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs
- Knowledge of Salesforce security model, profiles, roles, and permission sets
- Experience working on US Federal/Government projects is preferred
- Public Trust Clearance required and eligibile to obtain it
- Secret Clearance is highly preferred and eligible to obtain it
- Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II or Administrator, are required
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
