Full Job Description
Sales Strategy & Analysis

The Sales Strategy & Analysis role will be part of Fastly's Global Sales Operations team and will be a key contributor to the Sales Strategy & Operations team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy & Operations. They will partner closely with the Sr. Director to provide Sales leaders with data-driven recommendations to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

This role will also help manage the QBR process from data preparation and validation to additional analysis requests. They will collaborate closely with the Global Sales Operations teams as well as finance and data analytics teams, to compile key data insights. They will also assist with compiling insights and analysis to support the annual Sales planning process.

The perfect candidate for this role takes a proactive, consultative approach to solving business problems with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams. They're capable of distilling complex ideas and data into logical insights and recommendations, and adjust their communication based on the audience. They are able to work independently with minimal supervision, and raise concerns or provide feedback where necessary.

What You'll Do:
  • Partners closely with Sr. Director of Sales Strategy and Operations to proactively compile key insights that support data-driven decision making.
  • Assist Field and Functional Sales Operations teams with territory analysis & quota modeling process as part of the annual planning process.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives as needed, to identify and solve operational business challenges

What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of market research, consulting or finance experience, ideally with a high-tech or SaaS based company.
  • 2+ years supporting GTM functions across Marketing, Sales, Client Services
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills with ability to deliver their findings succinctly.
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting on basic sales metrics including pipeline, sales forecast and sales performance.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute small projects, develop and interpret analytics, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and dashboards (Looker, Tableau or PowerBI).
  • Proven ability to network and build strong relationships with peers and senior leaders.

We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
  • Experience with other sales tools including Clari, Zoominfo.
  • Experience with leveraging AI and agentic capabilities to assist with analysis and insights compilation.

Work Hours:
  • This position will require you to be available during core business hours
  • Due to the global scope of this role, core business hours may extend to global friendly time-zones for some engagements

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

This position is open to Hybrid And Remote Work Locations.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

In the U.S., key local office locations include: San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; New York City, NY.

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $133,200.00 to $159,840.00.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
