Job SummaryOldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support our growing market for our OneLift™ Pump Station product. This individual will be responsible for marketing and technical assistance leading to the specification and installation of OneLift™ Pump Station. The role will build and preserve existing relationships with key contacts, effectively market the breadth of infrastructure solutions provided by Oldcastle Infrastructure, provide engineers with technical data and resources as needed, and track projects from concept to completion. This is an office-based position that requires frequent travel for in-person interactions with distributors, customers, and other related contacts.
Job LocationThis role will be based out of the plant in Avon, CT.
Job Responsibilities- Embrace and promote the company's core values along with driving a safety-first operating culture.
- Develop relationships and maintain continuous contact with the distributors and other key customers through presentations, project meetings, public meetings, trade shows, targeted speaking engagements, etc.
- Support design teams in the specification of the OneLift™ Pump Station. Utilize internal resources to efficiently provide design support and answer technical questions.
- Complete take-offs and quotes for all RFQ's and send quote to the customer before due date
- Educate design engineers on key benefits and how to take advantage of OneLift™ Pump Stations' versatility to meet project requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis of each project to ensure proper specification of solutions and services to efficiently meet project goals and regulatory requirements.
- Consistently stay informed of changing regulatory environment regarding stormwater, groundwater recharge, and infiltration policies.
- Eagerly seek new opportunities to expand the usage of OneLift™ Pump Station as well as Oldcastle Infrastructure's stormwater and wastewater solutions through market opportunities, cost-efficiency, and customer relationships.
- Maintain relationships with internal company team members by engaging in meetings, providing training and constructive feedback, and working closely with others to manage customer requests.
- Effectively maintain a CRM funnel through consistent updates using Salesforce projects, accounts, contacts, and activities.
- Become an expert in the subject of total stormwater/wastewater management; detention/retention, treatment, infiltration, green infrastructure, and maintenance services.
- Travel is expected to be 35%
Job Requirements- 2+ years' experience working with distributors, civil engineers, construction operations, or related fields.
- Ability to review and understand civil construction specifications/drawings.
- A basic understanding of stormwater management and regulations.
- Coachable, enthusiastic, assertive, and technically inclined.
- Highly motivated to achieve personal and team success.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
