Full Job Description
SharkNinja is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Sales Director to join our ever-evolving and fast growing organization. The Sales Director will report to the Vice President of Sales and play a pivotal role in driving best-in-class account management. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with external retail merchants, as well as SharkNinja's internal teams, including Strategic Sales and Analytics, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance to achieve sales, profit, distribution, and digital objectives.
This role is based in the Bentonville, AR area and will be hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management
• Develop and execute a comprehensive operational plan to drive revenue and net margin growth
• Act as the general manager of your business, leading cross-functional teams and owning both strategic direction and executional detail
Financial Planning & Profitability
• Manage customer profitability by partnering with internal teams to build financial plans for new programs and distribution
• Oversee promotional spending to ensure alignment with net sales and gross margin targets
Analytical Decision-Making
• Conduct financial analyses across multiple scenarios to support critical decision-making
• Understand and influence contribution margin drivers
Customer Engagement
• Lead customer meetings with a clear strategy and outcome focus
• Leverage internal resources to support customer initiatives and drive results
Execution & Milestone Management
• Maintain a strong execution focus with clear timelines and accountability
• Ensure timely delivery of key initiatives and promotional activities
Supply Chain & Forecasting
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory flow
• Participate in monthly forecast cycles and long-range planning
Business Intelligence
• Work with Commercial and Analytics teams to monitor POS trends and business drivers
• Track and communicate competitive activity, including new product launches and promotions
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead a team of account managers, replenishment manager, and sales analyst
• Create development plans that align with team members' career goals
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 10+ years of national account sales management or equivalent experience working directly with a retailer in a buying or merchandising function, Walmart experience mandatory.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical and technical skills to gather and analyze large sets of data and create reports for management.
• Ability to work cross functionally and under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build, develop and maintain solid relationships.
• Proven analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Experience leading and managing a team.
• Ability to travel 4 to 6 trips per year

Pay Range
$151,900-$268,600 USD
