Full Job Description
About the Opportunity

We're looking for a curious, driven Sales Development Representative to be one of the first voices prospects hear from Pallet. You don't need years of sales experience; we're looking for hunger, a willingness to learn fast, and the kind of initiative that doesn't wait to be asked.

You'll help build our outbound motion from the ground up, work closely with founders and sales leadership, and have real input into how we go to market. The ceiling here is genuinely high - SDRs who excel move into AE, partnerships, or marketing roles with a foundation most people spend years trying to build.
Why this role is different
  • Be one of the first SDRs at Pallet - help shape the playbook from scratch
  • Work directly with marketing and sales leadership and founders to develop strategic outreach
  • Learn fast in a high-caliber, tight-knit team
  • Build foundational experience that opens doors to AE, partnerships, or marketing
How you will make an impact
  • Own top-of-funnel - identify the right prospects, build targeted lists, and get in front of them before the competition does
  • Run outbound campaigns end-to-end using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation, and learn what actually moves people to respond
  • Turn qualified conversations into pipeline by booking meetings for Account Executives and handing off leads that are ready to close
  • Test constantly, messaging, sequences, timing, targeting, and bring what you learn back to the team
  • Surface prospect feedback that makes our whole go-to-market smarter
  • Build the processes and playbooks that the next generation of Pallet SDRs will use
Preferred Experience
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Grit, resilience, and a passion for learning - you're not afraid of "no"
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sales or customer-facing experience
Interview Process
  • Chat with our Founding Business Recruiter - 30 min
  • Chat with Hiring Manager - 30 - 45 minutes
  • On-site Half Day Work Trial (paid) - 4 hours
  • Final Interviews - ~3 hours
Location:

This is an in-person role in our San Francisco Office (5 minutes walk from Montgomery BART Station)
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $105,000 OTE and competitive equity. Final compensation will be determined based on a combination of experience, qualifications, and location.

Our Benefits

We invest in our people the same way we invest in our product: seriously.
  • Health, Vision, and Dental benefits
  • Flexible PTO
  • + Life Insurance and Accidental Insurance
  • ♥ Short-Term Disability Coverage
  • Generous salary and equity for all staff
  • 401k option; helping you save for the future
  • Yearly learning and development stipend
  • Commuter benefits for Bay Area employees
  • Uber ride stipend if you ever have to work late in the office
  • Remote office home stipend to get you comfy in your space
  • Daily catered lunches provided
  • Onboarding trip to San Francisco HQ if you work remotely
  • Monthly happy hours
  • Annual Company Offsites; our last one was in Palm Springs CA

Workplace Policy

We are an in-person company. Our offices in San Francisco and New York City are where ideas get built, decisions get made, and the team gets stronger. We have invested in making them genuinely great places to spend your day, with catered lunches, monthly happy hours, and people who care about the work and each other.

Most of our team works in office five days a week. For select roles, we hire remotely across the U.S. Remote employees come to San Francisco for their first week to onboard and meet the team, and we cover the full trip. Most remote employees visit once a year after that, with all travel, lodging, and meals on us.

Every role is different. Travel expectations are always shared upfront in the job description and confirmed in your first call with us. No surprises.
