Department/Specialty: Labor and Delivery | ED

Schedule: Night Shift

Sign on Bonus: $15,000

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead & Mentor Teams: Direct, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff, ensuring peak performance through hands-on mentorship and meaningful performance evaluations.
  • Optimize Clinical Operations: Exercise independent judgment to manage daily patient care assignments, balancing staff productivity with high-quality, population-appropriate care.
  • Strategic Resource Management: Oversee unit logistics, including supply availability and shift planning, while swiftly resolving patient care concerns through established institutional channels.
  • Drive Unit Excellence: Prioritize complex patient and physician dynamics and provide critical input on key personnel decisions, including hiring, transfers, and promotions

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.
    • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
    • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in pediatric critical care setting.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
