ABOUT THE ROLEAs a
Revenue Management Analyst, you will help shape pricing and investment decisions that directly influence Roland Foods' profitability and growth. You will evaluate customer pricing, new bids, trade spend, and rebate programs-balancing margin objectives with commercial opportunities. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working with unit economics and taking ownership of important business decisions.
You will partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other teams, gaining valuable exposure to how the business operates from end to end. You will also have opportunities to share insights and pricing proposals with senior leaders, giving your work visibility and measurable impact.
As a response to the pandemic, Roland Foods office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to report in-person Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to telework on Monday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative, cross-functional nature of the organization, employees at the NY and NJ offices are required to work in-person for the abovementioned days, outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Establish, maintain, and administer customer pricing for our main channels: Foodservice Distributors, Retail, Industrial, and International
- Manage customer bids, RFPs, and trade spend programs: modeling out the economics of bids and programs, and providing recommendations that balance gross margin and sales volume
- Partner with pricing stakeholders and collaborators, including Sales, Supply Chain, and International Logistics
- Develop and optimize methodologies and repeatable processes to streamline work
- Analyze trends, competitive information, sales, and price history to support pricing decision making
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Roland Foods' pricing strategy
- Lead additional and ad hoc Revenue Management analyses and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSRequired- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience; experience in food, foodservice or grocery industry a plus
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to distill, identify takeaways, and summarize data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence internal stakeholders
Preferred- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in SQL is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Tableau is a plus
- Proficiency with juggling multiple priorities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible team environment
SALARY RANGERoland Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways Roland Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $85,000 - $95,000.
Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion, the salary offered.
