Description & RequirementsOn our UFC Rendering team , we build the technology behind immersive, high-quality visuals across multiple platforms. As a Rendering Software Engineer , you will join us in improving visual quality, performance, and player experience while partnering with Engineers, Artists, and Designers.
We work in a hybrid model, with three days per week onsite at our EAV Studio in Burnaby, British Columbia. You will report to the Senior Software Engineer.Responsibilities- You will develop and maintain rendering features, engine components, and tools.
- You will help us research and implement real-time rendering techniques.
- You will collaborate with our Art and Design teams to turn visual goals into technical solutions.
- You will help us debug, profile, and optimize CPU/GPU performance.
Qualifications- 3+ years of professional C++ development experience.
- 2+ years working with real-time rendering engines.
- Experience with DirectX 12, Vulkan, Metal, or similar APIs.
- Experience with graphics debugging, profiling, optimization, multithreading, memory management, and PC or console development.
- Experience developing or implementing real-time rendering techniques.
- Experience in utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g. coding agents) to rapid prototype, accelerate execution and automate workflows, with the ability to critically review and validate AI-generated code.
Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CAD
