Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Reliability Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process manufacturing or industrial equipment design environments (preferably with Maintenance)
• Familiarity with electrical standards such as IEEE, National Electric Code, NEMA is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and CMMS (Maximo experience beneficial)
• Strong problem-solving skills and methodologies
• Understanding of workflow from service requests to work order completion
• Experience with plant planning, scheduling, and shutdown procedures
• Willingness to travel occasionally within North America for training or assistance at other plants.
• Experience developing PM and PdM strategies for high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with condition monitoring equipment and precision installation tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, develop, and implement corporate preventative and predictive maintenance systems using IBM Maximo.
• Implement and optimize cost-justified predictive and preventative maintenance strategies and reliability best practices.
• Provide necessary CMMS-related training to end users as per Maximo SOP.
• Continuously improve the Electrical and Mechanical Preventative Maintenance system to enhance safety, product quality, and production efficiency.
• Analyze production losses and drive prioritization for Root Cause Analysis efforts.
• Review downtime data to identify trends for root cause identification.
• Facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) using Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to reduce defects.
• Assess and optimize spare parts required to support critical PM tasks from RCM.
• Evaluate and justify new technologies or inspection procedures for instrumentation controls and electrical components.
