Minimum qualifications:
  • JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
  • 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory, and litigation matters, including addressing, minimizing and avoiding regulatory risk.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with affirmative litigation, including through industry associations.
  • Experience engaging with regulators, such as State Attorneys General, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DoJ), and other content and media/consumer protection authorities.
  • Experience coordinating across multi-jurisdictional regulatory and civil inquiries, driving consistent strategy and accuracy.
  • Experience working with public company boards and their counsel, including special committees and audit committees.
  • Familiarity with other regulators across the Americas, EMEA and APAC.


About the job
As a Regulatory and Litigation Counsel, Content you will join an Americas-based team that leads the strategy for defending the company in responses to governments and regulators. You will define a defense strategy, conduct investigations, collect and review information, and represent the company in engagements.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$352,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
