Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood)
Full time; 4-10 hour shifts
Call required; must be able to meet 30 minute arrival time to hospital
Where You Will Work:The unit has three Cath Labs where physicians perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. As a nurse in this department you will assist the cardiovascular team throughout the procedure from prep through recovery.
We're Looking For: - Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab
- Ability to take call and arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes
What You'll Do:- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
