How you'll make an impact in this role- Lead daily operations: Supervise workflows, nursing activities, and unit resources to keep patient care running smoothly.
- Guide and develop the team: Handle hiring, training, direct supervision, ongoing development, and performance reviews.
- Solve care challenges: Quickly identify and address any issues that impact the quality or delivery of patient care.
- Manage the budget: Oversee spending, approve purchases, and ensure the unit stays aligned with financial goals while meeting all regulatory standards.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience required.
- 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
