Regional Supply Chain Planning Manager to support supply chain planning, inventory performance, and operational excellence across a defined geographic region.
This highly visible role partners closely with operating companies, branch leadership, finance, purchasing, operations, and supply chain teams to improve inventory health, strengthen planning discipline, optimize working capital, and drive consistent execution across the region. Travel:Approximately 25-30% within the assigned region.What You'll DoLead Regional Planning & Inventory Optimization- Support regional planning activities, demand visibility, supply readiness, and replenishment priorities.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify inventory risks, service challenges, and supply constraints.
- Prepare and support key SIOP planning activities.
- Align inventory investments with business demand and customer service requirements.
Improve Inventory Performance- Drive improvements in inventory health, inventory turns, DIO, excess and obsolete inventory, and returns management.
- Identify inventory balancing opportunities and corrective actions to reduce financial exposure.
- Support complex inventory disposition and recovery strategies.
Partner with Operating Companies- Collaborate with branch and OpCo leaders to improve supply chain processes and execution.
- Promote adoption of standard tools, reporting, documentation, and operating procedures.
- Share best practices and drive consistency across multiple locations and business units.
Leverage Data & Analytics- Analyze inventory, demand, operational, and ERP data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Troubleshoot reporting, process, and data integrity challenges.
- Convert insights into actionable plans that improve planning performance and operational results.
Drive Continuous Improvement- Maintain dashboards, scorecards, documentation, and governance routines.
- Provide visibility into key inventory and planning metrics.
- Support ongoing process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, procurement, replenishment, branch operations, or SIOP/S&OP environments.
- Experience supporting regional, multi-site, or distributed operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
- Experience working with ERP systems and operational reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM or CSCP.
- Lean or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Experience in wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain-intensive environments.
- SIOP/S&OP planning experience.
