Summary

Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist reps in promoting sales.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Mentoring: Participates in Company-sponsored training and provides mentoring.
  • Directly supervises a various number of manufacturing representatives.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviewing and training co-workers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining co-workers; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or
  • Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have valid and current driver's license
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time by air and auto


Wages

$113,000 - $115,000 annually plus incentive
