Full Job Description
As a Regional Sales Leader - Distribution Sales, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across Owens Corning's Roofing and Asphalt business within the assigned region. This role provides leadership to a team of Area Sales Managers and is accountable for developing customer-focused strategies, delivering strong commercial performance, and leading execution across the region.

You will partner closely with customers, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, strengthen market position, and drive profitable results. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, sales leadership, and a commitment to developing talent and creating value for customers.

POSITION LOCATION: Houston, TX (must reside within the region; up to 50% travel required)

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Lead and develop a team of Area Sales Managers to drive profitable growth and market share across the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and key customer stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute regional sales and market strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Analyze market conditions, customer trends, competitive activity, and economic factors to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Partner with the Area Director, Distribution Sales to support strategic planning, forecasting, pricing, and business performance initiatives.
  • Provide insights on customer needs, industry trends, competitive positioning, and market dynamics to influence regional and enterprise sales strategies.
  • Manage regional P&L performance, emphasizing sales productivity, profitability, pricing discipline, and overall business results.
  • Drive accountability for sales performance, margin improvement, pricing execution, and operational excellence.
  • Lead forecasting, pricing, and business review processes, utilizing customer feedback and market insights to guide decision-making.
  • Communicate business strategy, performance, and market perspectives to customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Design and implement customer-focused selling programs that drive profitability for both Owens Corning and channel partners.
  • Establish clear expectations and governance around pricing, forecasting, business performance, safety, ethics, and financial controls.
  • Champion sales process effectiveness by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies that impact productivity and customer service.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to support customer success and business growth.
