Oil Changers Inc. seeks a dedicated Regional Manager of Repair and Quick Lube for the Austin, Texas Market. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of related experience in the multiple-unit automotive repair and management field, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining high-quality service standards, and fostering a positive work environment. This position offers a competitive salary of $75,000 to $100,000 yearly, with potential bonuses based on experience, as well as insurance, dental, and other benefits upon probation completion.

Reporting Relationship:

The Regional Manager reports directly to the Territory Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement strategic and financial plans to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor key operating statistics to identify opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Achieve company goals by maximizing location manager and employee performance through coaching and performance management.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain location managers and staff, ensuring compliance with company training standards.
  • Act as a liaison between location personnel and corporate management to ensure effective communication.
  • Maintain a team environment through empowerment, recognition, trust, and respect.
  • Promote business growth by identifying marketing opportunities and executing marketing programs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Greet customers and communicate clearly and professionally any changes in repairs that would affect cost and/or delivery expectations.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure high-quality service repairs.
  • Establish and maintain customer follow-up programs to confirm customer satisfaction with their service experience.
  • Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conduct spot checks and quality checks on completed jobs and verify paperwork technicians turn in.
  • Perform maintenance checks and ensure tools and supplies are available.
  • Understand the computer system and ensure full utilization for daily operations.
  • Train managers in ordering procedures and inventory control.
  • Develop fleet lead account identification process and fleet acquisition plan.
  • Make recommendations for improving production methods and equipment performance.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
  • Ensure repairs are charged out correctly, i.e., warranty and/or policy repairs.
  • Recruit, hire, and motivate qualified service technicians. Assisted in developing and mentoring technicians and supported regional leadership.
  • Provide technical support for technicians when necessary.
  • Schedule technicians for daily repair work that matches their skill level to ensure quality, as well as schedule off time.
  • Ensure that all employees receive appropriate company training.

Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of experience in the automotive industry and management field.
  • Experience managing multiple chain facilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop a diverse team of employees.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record must meet the insurability guidelines set forth by the insurance carrier.
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory customer ranking and increase sales.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for daily use, you will commute from store to store in the Austin area.

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and drive as necessary.
