10+ years of work experience in the Electrical/Electronics industry is essential

Proven track record of sales growth and hunting for new opportunities
Proven understanding and experience in the selling process
Requires the skills to develop a comprehensive knowledge of resins, flexible insulation films and coatings for electric, electronic and engineered materials products; their technology, sales, service and applications. Experience in selling into electric, electronic or engineered materials markets
Must be able to travel extensively and possess a valid passport.
Must be able to effectively deal with customers, distributors and to work well with people at all levels of the company.

Your responsibilitiesThe Manager North American Sales (M-NAS) manages the regional sales force as well as the newly created roles of Priority Account Managers. The incumbent is responsible for the successful execution of all business line strategies by managing the entire sales process. In this role the incumbent will actively manage his/her organization to engage with our existing customer base in an effort to continuously grow our market share and create entry points at targeted new accounts to develop sales positions with EPDG's current product portfolio, as well as through newly developed solutions. In addition the incumbent will assume direct responsibility in managing our distributor Essex Brownell. The M-NAS will drive to strengthen relationships with our distributor network at the regional levels.
The M-NAS will be a quick learner with strong negotiation skills and demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness. The incumbent must have the ability to effectively address customer needs through products and service offerings. In support of our growth strategy the incumbent is expected to build strong relationships at the account level, with continuous EPDG presence, which will require frequent customer visits. The incumbent will be tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events and trade shows.
- Supervises and manages 6 Regional Managers and 2 Priority Account Managers.
- Represents our company's products and services, with comprehensive understanding to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
- Maintains current sales and promotes growth based on the customer requirements and future needs.
- Visits existing and potential customers as part of account management and business development.
- Develops strong relationships with customers and distributors at multiple functional & hierarchical levels
- Works closely with the Strategic account managers responsible for distribution accounts in an effort to synchronize growth expectations and initiatives.
- Stays informed on new products and/or services and other general information of interest to customers.
- Develops annual forecasts on anticipated market sales.
- Maintains records and prepares reports on all phases of activities.
- Makes the organization's services available to customers.
- Assists the organization to create a safe and healthy working environment by working safely, using equipment provided and following instructions given for health and safety purposes and immediately reporting any unsafe working practices or hazardous working conditions.
