Leidos' Ground Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) program is seeking an experienced
mechanical engineer to design structural packaging for electronics components within a large radar. This is a large, multi-phase radar program with concurrent development, test, production, and sustainment activities.
As a member on the radar back-end processing team, you will be responsible for the mechanical design aspects associated with component selection, electronics rack sizing, electronics rack shock isolation, electronics layout in the racks, component mounting solutions, cable routing, and cooling solutions.
This role requires a seasoned technical contributor proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in mechanical engineering and analysis. You will be responsible for developing solutions to technical problems and issues that may be difficult or unclear while collaborating with other members of the mechanical, electrical, and analysis teams.
This is not your average engineering position. You will work on a team of the most talented engineers in the region who push you to be better every day. This is a fast-paced program with unique technical challenges that will be a rewarding milestone in any engineering career.
If you are up for the challenge of joining this team, then apply today to be considered.
