R&D Engineer-AutomationWe are seeking a hands-on
R&D Engineer who will design, build, create drawings for and assemble automation solutions and equipment for the production of electrical components.
Job Responsibilities- Work with in-house Machinists and outside vendors to source components for production equipment and machinery
- Project Management from conception to completion
- Design and test automation equipment and processes
- Integration between robotics/EOAT, cameras, sensors, other automation applications
- Work side-by-side with Machine Builders and Electricians in the assembly of new equipment and machinery
Job Requirements- Desire to work on both: conceptual engineering and hands-on product development
- SolidWorks experience: models, assembly, and drawings required. Desired: configurations, surfacing
- Capability to learn about new subjects
- Thrives in an environment of constant change and evolution
- Working Knowledge of machine design, industrial robot controls, and PLCs is required
- Effective problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical techniques for issue resolution
- Ability to develop creative automation solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or Industrial Engineering
