R&D Engineer-Automation

We are seeking a hands-on R&D Engineer who will design, build, create drawings for and assemble automation solutions and equipment for the production of electrical components.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with in-house Machinists and outside vendors to source components for production equipment and machinery
  • Project Management from conception to completion
  • Design and test automation equipment and processes
  • Integration between robotics/EOAT, cameras, sensors, other automation applications
  • Work side-by-side with Machine Builders and Electricians in the assembly of new equipment and machinery

Job Requirements
  • Desire to work on both: conceptual engineering and hands-on product development
  • SolidWorks experience: models, assembly, and drawings required. Desired: configurations, surfacing
  • Capability to learn about new subjects
  • Thrives in an environment of constant change and evolution
  • Working Knowledge of machine design, industrial robot controls, and PLCs is required
  • Effective problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical techniques for issue resolution
  • Ability to develop creative automation solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or Industrial Engineering
