Quality Engineering Lead - Workday, Integrations & AI-Driven Test Automation
Lead II - Software Testing
UST is searching for a Quality Engineering Lead with proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, qTest).
The opportunity:
• Lead QE activities for Corporate and Finance streams in an Agile delivery model
• Plan and drive in-sprint testing, automation execution, and release sign-off
• Leverage AI-based solutions for test generation, prioritization, defect trend analysis, and quality reporting
• Coordinate functional and automation testing using Selenium, Java, and REST APIs
• Manage test execution on cloud platforms like for faster feedback and scalability
• Validate end-to-end system integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts across enterprise systems.
• Enable CI/CD pipeline integration and continuous quality gates
• Track quality metrics, risks, and readiness for production rollout
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Business teams to align testing with Corporate and financial workflows

What you need:
• Experience: 8-12 years
• Hands-on leadership of Agile QE teams with automation + AI-driven quality insights
• Strong experience with Selenium, Java, REST APIs, cloud test execution platform (Lambda, Test grid, SauceLabs etc), and release readiness
• Exposure to Gitlab and CICD tools
• Experience with integration testing and data validation across multiple systems
• Experience in Data Validation & Reconciliation Testing
• Strong Knowledge in 1. Workday 2. Integrations 3. automation
• Domain expertise in telecom, HR process & workflows from sprint to production
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Texas
Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000
