Position OverviewAs a Quality Engineer Lead (Python/JAVA) within PNC's Lending Technology Centralized organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Birmingham AL or Dallas TX.
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer Lead (Python/JAVA) to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery. The lead will work closely with developers, product owners, and QE analysts to embed quality throughout the SDLC, focusing on test automation, CI/CD integration, and scalable test frameworks.
Requirements:

• Lead test strategy, test planning, test execution governance, and quality reporting, providing clear visibility into quality metrics, risks, defects, and release readiness to business and technology stakeholders.
• Driving end-to-end quality strategy across multiple applications and business domains.
• Leading test automation, AI-enabled quality engineering practices, and CI/CD quality integration.
• Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to identify quality risks, dependencies, and testing priorities across the SDLC.
• Defining test data, environment, and quality governance strategies to support scalable and repeatable testing.
• Mentoring and developing QE talent while establishing quality engineering standards, metrics, and best practices.

Job Description- Leads the development and review of test strategies and plans to ensure alignment with project goals, including scope, tools, and testing approaches. Provides guidance to more junior team members regarding testing needs.
- Identifies and addresses resource and environment gaps, escalating unresolved or recurring issues to appropriate Quality Engineer leadership.
- Monitors and manages testing risks and defects, ensuring they meet ECO standards and are accurately reported.
- Prepares and delivers test summary reports and documentation for Technology leaders, Governance/Risk teams, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborates across teams and participate in Quality Engineer CoP meetings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $86,250.00 - $158,125.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
