Full Job Description
The Stellantis Quality Organization is currently seeking a Certification Line Unit Leader (Quality Certification Supervisor) at the Windsor Assembly Plant.

The Quality Certification Supervisor will manage the certification line quality verification stations and is the focal point of contact for all certification line quality issues, ensuring shift to shift consistency, and utilizing the data to drive issues to closure utilizing the Stellantis Industrial System methodologies. The Quality Certification Supervisor must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution of vehicle quality issues.

The selected individual will have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing and quality landscape and present outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. Moreover, this person must have unquestioned integrity.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise certification line quality verification personnel
  • Track and report quality concerns identified, assist in root cause, containment and corrective actions for all quality related issues in the manufacturing facility
  • Train newly and re-assigned personnel
  • Manage time sheet and payroll of all bargaining unit employees
  • Hands-on training and coaching of salary and bargaining unit employees on the World Class Manufacturing methodologies
  • Plan, prioritize, set goals and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment
  • Strong communication skills to support meetings at all levels of the company, including senior leadership
  • Establish partnerships both internally and externally and to influence without direct authority
  • Commitment and dedication in delivering a premier product to the consumer
  • Represent the "Voice of the Customer"
  • Contribute or drive team success by clarifying expectation and minimizing political hurdles
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering results and champion achievements

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated planning/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible shift schedule
  • Experience and working knowledge of computer systems and software with strong knowledge of MS Office or Google Office
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and translate data into visual charts/graphs etc.
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing / assembly plant experience
  • Minimum TWO (2) years of quality related experience
  • Lead auditor certifications and practical experience
  • Supervisory experience of hourly personnel
  • Basic knowledge of statistics
  • Previous leadership experience is considered an asset
