Role Overview:This role is for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in software testing and automation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and enhancing robust test automation frameworks, leveraging a diverse set of programming languages and tools to ensure the highest quality and reliability of software products.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and enhance scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using core programming concepts in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Perform comprehensive database testing, with a particular focus on SQL Server environments.
- Utilize industry-leading automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium for effective test execution.
- Apply a strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and fundamental QA principles throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Conduct various types of testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance, Backend API, and Database Testing.
- Collaborate effectively within CI/CD pipelines and manage version control systems like Git.
Required Skills:- Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in QA automation and software testing.
- Strong technical expertise in core programming concepts, including Java OOPs and Data Structures.
- Ability to adopt and work proficiently with multiple languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and enhancing test automation frameworks, including designing scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Proficiency in Database Testing, especially with SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools, including Playwright and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA principles.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with BDD (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow) and TDD frameworks and methodologies.
- Expertise in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Backend API Test Automation, and Database Testing.
Qualifications:- Minimum 10+ years of overall experience.
- At least 3 years of experience specifically in QA automation and software testing.
Preferred Skills:- Exposure to GenAI and AI-driven tools utilized for test automation, with an understanding of how these can be integrated into QA processes.
