Job SummaryThe Python & Database Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data processing applications, database solutions, AI/ML services, and Generative AI applications. This role combines strong software development expertise with database and artificial intelligence capabilities to build scalable, production-grade solutions that support business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python development, database technologies, API development, and AI/ML implementation, with a proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver high-quality solutions across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities- Software & Application Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade Python applications and data processing pipelines.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using the FastAPI framework.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to create maintainable and efficient software solutions.
- Build and support asynchronous processing systems for high-performance applications.
- Develop robust, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Database Development & Data Management
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.
- Support database integration, performance tuning, and data management activities.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across applications and systems.
- Work with large datasets to support business intelligence, analytics, and AI initiatives.
- AI, Machine Learning & Data Science
- Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions to address business challenges.
- Utilize Python libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn for data analysis, feature engineering, and model development.
- Design and implement anomaly detection solutions using techniques such as:
- Isolation Forest
- Clustering Algorithms
- Time Series Analysis
- Pattern Mining
- Develop and deploy Generative AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI technologies.
- Support model deployment, monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
- Testing & Code Quality
- Create and maintain automated unit tests using frameworks such as pytest.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
- Troubleshoot application, data, and system issues to ensure reliable production performance.
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and AI/ML specialists.
- Participate in project planning, solution design, and technical discussions.
- Support multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting project timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, development standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Python development and database technologies.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience delivering AI/ML projects.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade applications.
