Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a forward-leaning, quality-focused Publications Specialist to drive excellence in editorial, production, and dissemination support to national security priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience directly supporting the Intelligence Community. You excel in a team-oriented environment and support your colleagues’ growth as a mentor. You are comfortable taking limited direction and coordinating across the enterprise to produce high-quality materials that meet time-sensitive deadlines. You establish and maintain excellent, collaborative working relationships with executive leaders, soliciting and incorporating feedback in a thoughtful, professional manner.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications• Active, current TS/SCI with polygraph• Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, or 7 years with PhD• Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing, and editing intelligence products published for a whole-of-government audience• Understanding of analytic tradecraft standards and ability to drive teams to meet those standards• Proven experience collaborating effectively with senior leaders, executives, and other stakeholders• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the willingness and ability to adapt to dynamic and unexpected customer requirementsDesired Qualifications• Degree in a directly relevant field such as English, Journalism, Professional Writing, etc.• Willingness to work a non-standard shift schedule to support 24x7x365 operations• Experience leading teams by participating in hiring and onboarding, driving individual and team performance, supporting growth and development, etc. Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
