Full Job Description
Who You Are:

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll own the infrastructure that runs institutional-grade blockchain operations - with particular depth in Ethereum validator infrastructure, consensus and execution client operations, and the platform layer that makes all of it reliable, observable, and scalable.

This isn't a role where blockchain is adjacent to the real work. Validator clusters, client diversity, MEV infrastructure, slashing protection, and the operationalcomplexity of running Ethereum at institutional scale are core to what you'll buildand maintain. That sits alongside the broader platform stack: Kubernetes (EKS,GitOps with FluxCD), AWS, Kafka, secrets and key management (KMS/HSM,MPC), Postgres, and the observability layer. You'll also work closely with clients -understanding their systems, translating requirements into platform capabilities, and collaborating on integrations.

What You'll Do:
  • Own and operate Ethereum validator infrastructure at scale - consensus clients (Lighthouse, Prysm, Teku, Nimbus), execution clients (Geth,Nethermind, Besu, Reth), and the tooling that keeps them healthy, diverse, and performant.
  • Build and maintain the platform layer underneath validator operations: cluster lifecycle management, client upgrades, peer connectivity, fork tracking, and the observability stack that surfaces what matters.
  • Manage slashing protection, key management, and signer infrastructure (Web3Signer, distributed validators, HSM/MPC-backed signing) at the level of rigor institutional staking demands.
  • Harden shared platform infrastructure: EKS environments, GitOps pipelines, secrets management, networking, CI/CD, and the data plane.
  • Partner closely with clients on integration work across staking, tokenization, DeFi, and validator engagements. Translate their constraints into platform requirements and ship the code that closes the gap.
  • Generalize patterns from client work into reusable platform capabilities - so the next engagement doesn't start from zero.
  • Operate production systems where the failure mode is institutional money and reputation. On-call, incident response, post mortems.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions across modules - staking, MPC quorum coordination, policy engine, vaults.

What We're Looking For:
  • Substantial experience building and operating distributed systems in production, ideally where reliability and security are first-class concerns.
  • Deep comfort with the modern infrastructure stack: Kubernetes, AWS (or equivalent), infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, observability tooling, CI/CD.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in at least one systems-capable language (Go, Rust, Python, TypeScript - what you've shipped matters more than which).
  • Experience operating systems that hold or move value - custody, payments, exchanges, key management, HSMs, MPC - or a clear track record in adjacent high-stakes domains.
  • Comfort being customer-facing. You'll sit with client engineers, understand their constraints, and ship into their environment. Strong written and verbal communication.
  • High agency. We operate decentralized command - squad leads own within their mandate. You should be the kind of engineer who finds the work, not the kind who waits for it.
  • For staff candidates: a track record of setting technical direction across multiple teams or engagements, and of growing the engineers around you.

Bonus Points:
  • Experience with MEV infrastructure - mev-boost, relay operation,builder/proposer separation, and its implications for validator profitability and performance.
  • Broader multi-chain infrastructure experience: Solana, Cosmos-SDK chains, L2s, or other PoS networks with their own client ecosystems.
  • Experience with distributed validator technology (DVT) - Obol, SSV, or similar.
  • Experience with MPC, threshold signing, or secure enclaves (Nitro, SGX) in production.
  • Familiarity with tokenization or DeFi protocol integration at the infrastructure level.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
  • Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements
  • Flexible Time Off (paid)
  • 3% 401(k) company contribution
  • Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
  • Generous paid Parental Leave
  • Competitive family planning benefits for US employees
  • Opportunities to learn about the Crypto industry
  • Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues
  • Free daily snacks and weekly breakfasts/lunches
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Free coaching and counseling sessions through Headspace

About Galaxy Digital LP

Galaxy Digital was a radio station broadcasting through the digital platform across the United Kingdom and was owned by Global Radio. It primarily broadcast in areas where Galaxy was not represented on FM, such as London, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derbyshire. It also formerly broadcast in Central Scotland, until the relaunch of Xfm Scotland as Galaxy Scotland, at which point Galaxy Digital on DAB was replaced with a relay of Xfm London. The digital station was a 'sister' radio station to the local Galaxy Network services in various areas. The digital service was broadcast largely from the Galaxy Yorkshire studios, and much of the content networked across the group came from this location. Since Monday 21 January 2008, Galaxy Digital was changed from its own dedicated service to broadcast almost entirely as a direct relay of Galaxy Yorkshire, though the 'Across Yorkshire' on-air tagline was replaced by 'Across the UK' on the digital service.. Since Friday 21 March 2008, the radio station changed their 'Passion for Music, Passion for Life' strap-line slogan to 'Love Music' ; the tagline changed again in 2010 to "The UK's Number One Hit Music Station" in preparation for the impending Capital relaunch.
