Full Job Description
Our challenge

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation through delivery. The successful candidate will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder communications across cross-functional teams.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k - CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and success measures.
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional technology and business teams.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests.
  • Facilitate project ceremonies, governance meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Track delivery progress and provide clear status reporting.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, security, compliance, and control requirements.
  • Coordinate testing, implementation, transition, and post-delivery activities.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships where applicable.
  • Promote continuous improvement and effective delivery practices.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing complex technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
  • Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and dependency tracking.


Preferred, but not required:
  • Experience in banking, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or comparable certification.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Experience delivering cloud, data, application, infrastructure, or regulatory initiatives.
