Full Job Description
We are seeking aProject Manager with experience across both custom software development (SDLC) and packaged software implementations. This role is best described as aproject support leadwho owns the day-to-day project controls (planning, reporting, tracking, and documentation) while bringing enough implementation experience toidentify issues early, anticipate risks, and help shape practical solutions-not just record status.

Key Responsibilities
Project Controls & Delivery Support
  • Own the internalproject plan, schedule, milestones, and day-to-day project controls.
  • Maintainstatus reporting,meeting notes, andaction logs.
  • Track and managerisks, issues, decisions, action items, and change requests.
  • Maintain currentRAID logsandchange logs(kept accurate and up to date).
  • Follow up on open items; ensureclear owners and due datesfor all action items.
  • "Chase" inputs and updates from internal teams to keep delivery moving forward.
  • Prepare materials forprogram-manager reviewsandclient-facing reviews.
  • Keep project documentationorganized, complete, and audit-ready.
Risk, Issue, and Change Management (Not Just Admin)
  • Flagschedule, scope, dependency, and delivery risks early-before escalation is required.
  • Spot when work isdrifting off trackand proactively course-correct.
  • Think through theimpact of change requests(scope, timeline, dependencies, resourcing).
  • Support issue resolution by pulling facts together, clarifying tradeoffs, and proposingpractical next-step options.
  • Understand implementation work well enough toask the right questionsand help prevent delivery surprises.
What Success Looks Like
  • Projects run with strongvisibility and control: plans are current, RAID is accurate, and decisions/actions are tracked to completion.
  • Risks and delivery blockers areidentified early, with clear options and recommended next steps.
  • Internal teams and stakeholders experience the PM as aforce multiplierwho keeps execution moving-not just a note-taker.

  • Proven experience managing project controls for:
    • Custom software development projects(SDLC), and
    • Packaged software implementations(vendor-side implementation delivery).
