We are currently seeking a Project Manager - PMO to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Day to Day Job Duties
  • Perform hands-on PMO activities supporting banking technology and transformation programs. This is a hands-on delivery role and requires the individual to personally own and execute PMO activities rather than only provide oversight or coordination.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams to track project plans, sprint commitments, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly project status reports, dashboards, management presentations, and executive-level reporting.
  • Own and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies), proactively following up with owners and escalating items requiring management attention.
  • Coordinate and support project governance forums, Steering Committee meetings, program reviews, and working-group meetings, including preparation of agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, decisions, and action tracking.
  • Support delivery in an Agile environment, participating in relevant Agile ceremonies and working closely with Scrum teams to track delivery progress, impediments, dependencies, and commitments.
  • Consolidate information from multiple workstreams and provide a clear view of overall program status, key risks, upcoming milestones, and areas requiring attention.
  • Perform hands-on tracking of project financials including budgets, forecasts, actuals, resource costs, and variances.
  • Track resource requirements, onboarding/offboarding, allocation, utilization, and capacity across project teams.
  • Maintain project plans, governance artifacts, documentation repositories, change requests, decision logs, and other required PMO documentation.
  • Work with business, technology, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive closure of actions and ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Identify gaps in project governance or execution and proactively work with the project leadership team to address them.
  • Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, governance standards, and reporting practices.
  • Work effectively with geographically distributed teams and be prepared to work from client locations when required.


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of overall experience in PMO, Project Management, Program Management, or Project Coordination roles.
  • 5+ years PMO experience is mandatory. Candidates must be willing and able to personally create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, meeting minutes, financial trackers, resource plans, and other project governance artifacts.
  • 5+ years of experience within Banking or Financial Services supporting technology, transformation, regulatory, or business change initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile delivery environment, with a good understanding of Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog management, dependencies, and delivery tracking.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience in project governance, RAID management, milestone and dependency tracking, action management, and executive reporting.
  • Experience preparing management-level presentations and communicating project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting project financial management, resource tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to independently prepare high-quality project reports and presentations.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence, along with project planning or portfolio management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, ServiceNow SPM/PPM, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business and technology stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% to Brazil based on project requirements.


Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.


Travel
  • This position requires up to 50% travel to Brazil. Candidates must be comfortable with regular international travel and working from the client location in Brazil as required by the engagement.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $141,120.00 to $235,200.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.

Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
