Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate IT and business initiatives supporting enterprise applications and operational programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering projects in Agile and structured project management environments. This role will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, reporting, risk management, and coordination with technical teams and government stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects through the full project lifecycle, from planning through implementation and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate activities across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting.
- Support requirements gathering, prioritization, and change management activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational processes, security requirements, and governance standards.
- Support production releases and operational coordination activities.
- Foster collaboration and communication across project teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing IT or business projects.
- Experience managing Agile/Scrum projects and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
- Experience supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting Federal Government programs or contracts.
- PMP certification.
- Scrum Master or Agile certification.
- ITIL certification.
- Familiarity with cloud-based or enterprise application environments.
