Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in Electrical Power or equivalent military training.
• 5+ years of experience managing electrical maintenance projects or commissioning switchgear.
• Familiarity with Doble software, automated CT set, and other advanced testing equipment preferred.
• NETA Certification is a plus, enhancing credibility but not mandatory.
• Basic computer skills required, knowledge of PowerDB is advantageous.
• Completion of safety training (OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, etc.) is preferred, can provide training.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and adherence to electrical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of electrical services jobs, including testing and troubleshooting high voltage systems.
• Spend at least half of the work time in the field managing project execution.
• Collaborate with the sales team for job estimation and pre-planning activities.
• Assign job roles and responsibilities to crew members effectively.
• Maintain direct communication with customers, providing regular updates and addressing concerns during projects.
• Seek opportunities to expand job scope and maximize service revenue with the customer.
• Manage project budgets, examining technician job times and material costs for accuracy.
• Conduct final job reviews to ensure successful start-up and energization before project completion.
• Compile and confirm accuracy of project reports for management review.
• Participate in on-call duties to address customer emergencies promptly.
