Who You AreYou are a seasoned Construction Project Manager. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects from handoff through closeout. This role owns project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, budget, customer satisfaction, and profitability while serving as the primary point of coordination across the DIRTT delivery lifecycle.
The Project Manager leads planning, forecasting, scheduling, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation activities to ensure project objectives are achieved. Through effective leadership and collaboration, the Project Manager delivers predictable project outcomes while maintaining strong customer relationships and commercial performance.
What You'll Do- Forecasting Financials
• Develop and maintain monthly cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Forecast project revenue, gross margin, cash flow, and final cost at completion.
• Analyze budget variances and identify forecast risks and opportunities.
• Incorporate approved and pending change orders into forecasts.
• Present project financial outlook during project reviews. - Project Accounting
• Own project financial administration from project setup through closeout.
• Review and approve project costs, commitments, and invoices for accuracy.
• Manage owner billing, payment applications, and collections support.
• Ensure costs are properly coded and reflected in project financial reports.
• Monitor accounts receivable, retention, and subcontractor payment status.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain accurate project financial records. - Project Scheduling
• Develop, maintain, and manage the project execution schedule.
• Coordinate schedule activities across design, procurement, fabrication, logistics, and field operations.
• Monitor critical milestones and identify schedule risks and constraints.
• Develop recovery plans when project activities fall behind schedule.
• Communicate schedule status, impacts, and mitigation plans to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure schedule updates accurately reflect project progress and forecasted completion dates. - Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and communicate project status, risks, and key decisions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, schedule, budget, and project performance
• Resolve routine conflicts and facilitate timely decision-making.
• Communicate project changes, impacts, and mitigation plans effectively
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. - Knowledge & Experience
• Manage project execution from order handoff through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and risk registers.
• Coordinate design, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and field execution activities.
• Manage customer communications and day-to-day stakeholder relationships.
• Lead project meetings and drive issue resolution.
• Manage change orders, contract compliance, and project financial controls.
• Monitor manufacturing and installation readiness.
• Forecast revenue, margin, and cost-to-complete.
• Ensure projects meet customer expectations for quality, schedule, and budget.
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications- 5-8 years of project management experience.
