Full Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager in San Francisco to join our growing Program and Project Management team.
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day project and commercial management of one of our key projects.
The Opportunity
• Deliver dynamic and impactful work by contributing to a high-profile project. Examples include major transportation systems, water management programs, and science and data center projects.
• Support business growth and development by contributing to the continued expansion of Arup's program and project management offering.

• Foster creativity and innovation by working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high-quality technical excellence.
• Manage the design and construction process in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Understand and maintain the Client's goals and aspirations as a reference point throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate Client and internal meetings.
• Facilitate and track the resolution of project decisions.
• Support the Project Manager in establishing and monitoring project scope, schedule, and resource plans for the Client.
• Coordinate communication and information flow between project team members.
• Coordinate activities and deliverables across project team members.
• Demonstrate excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Coordinate design documentation for permit and construction.
This role is based in the Arup San Francisco office for at least three days per week.
Is this role right for you?
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (preferred); degrees in Architecture or related building disciplines (e.g. Construction Management) will also be considered.
• Bring 5+ years of experience in design and/or project or construction management of complex facilities (e.g. laboratories, data centers, transit or water infrastructure).
• Demonstrate a good understanding of procurement approaches and the ability to interpret project schedules and cost estimate documentation.
• Be fluent with standard MS Office applications.
• Have experience with PMIS systems and other project management tools (preferred).
• Analyze and present information clearly for senior-level reporting.
• Plan, organize, and manage project delivery teams effectively.
• Apply strong corporate, client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy in financial reporting.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong planning, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrate a self-motivated, proactive approach and a willingness to take on new challenges.

San Francisco Hiring Range - Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $115,000 to $125,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of San Francisco will differ.
