Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects that directly support CNL's mission and operational excellence.
The SIAM Project Manager is responsible for delivering IDG-led projects and providing oversight and support for projects led by other organizations where IDG is the client. These projects include (but are not limited to) Utility Distribution (electrical, service water, fire water, heat and steam distributions), building renewals, Energy Sustainability and Roads & Grounds. These projects span single and multiple years and require coordinated efforts from numerous internal and external stakeholders The incumbent may be responsible for direct report personnel, functional personnel, and will be responsible for all work planning, engineering, procurement, risk, schedule, stakeholder engagement, and project closeout.

What will you be doing!- Promoting a strong nuclear safety culture and ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks through hazard analyses, corrective actions, and preventative measures.
- Leading mid- to large-scale infrastructure projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
- Managing project planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
- Developing and maintaining project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics.
- Aligning project delivery with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinating and securing internal and external resources required for successful project execution.
- Monitoring project performance and reporting project status, progress, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Managing project risks, issues, and changes while maintaining control of project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Facilitating collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and business partners.
- Participating in management and cross-functional team meetings to support project prioritization, resourcing, and organizational alignment.
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Overseeing vendor performance and supporting contract administration and negotiations.
- Conducting project reviews and applying lessons learned to support continuous improvement and future project success.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, project management processes, and applicable business requirements.
- Supporting transparent communication and informed decision-making through effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Establishing and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or another related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or certification through the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) is considered an asset.
- Experience
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of progressive project management experience.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of maintenance and/or construction-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience successfully delivering medium to large infrastructure, utility, building renewal, roads and grounds, or construction projects.
- Experience working within a regulated environment is considered an asset.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams consisting of internal staff, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software is considered an asset.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects while meeting regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret project scope, budget, and schedule requirements and lead project planning activities.
- Experience managing mid-size to large infrastructure projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, quality assurance, planning and control, construction, and safety processes.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, contract management, and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, utility standards, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
Working Conditions:- Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.
