Job Description

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager 3 to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume; proof of certification may be requested.

Minimum of 10 years of experience with the following:

  • Managing project with implementations across large organizations; should include developing and managing project plans, documenting risks, issues, and contingency plan experience.
  • Research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts to devise solutions to problems; prepare concise reports to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems.
  • Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts ensuring business requirements get translated into technical specifications; guide and facilitate the SDLC process.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholder.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates; conduct regular project team meetings.
  • Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with the following:

  • Agile methodology; overseeing and tracking development progress.
  • Ensuring project assignments align with project timelines.
  • Managing the project with feature driven sprints.
PREFERRED
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:
  • Implementing and using Agile methodologies and best practices for one or more State of Texas agencies.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or Public Health.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of the specific project; may work by alone or be in charge of a team to get the job done.
  • Work with program and IT to implement invoice tracking system replacement project activities.
  • Includes, but not limited to, the following: facilitate meetings, manage the project milestones, deliverables, and change request; manage risks and issues, track project budget, manage project scope, complete various reporting, etc., to ensure the project is completed on time and under budget.
