About the Role

We are seeking a Legal Operations Specialist/Project Manager to support legal process improvement, project coordination, workflow documentation, and stakeholder communications across key initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong organization and communication skills, and a practical mindset for improving how legal work gets done.

In a Typical Week, You Might Work On...

Process Improvement & Transformation

Support initiatives that simplify, standardize, and improve legal workflows.

Document operating procedures, workflow standards, and process improvements.

Maintain guidance materials and workflow references for consistent execution.

Program Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

Coordinate project activities, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications.

Partner with Legal and cross-functional teams to track action items, share updates, and keep work on schedule.

Technology, Automation & Change Management

Identify and support technology, AI, and automation solutions that improve productivity.

Support change management through communications, training, and adoption planning.

Minimum Requirements

Professional Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in Legal Operations, Project Coordination, Program Management, Business Operations, Consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, workflow documentation, operating procedure development, or implementation activities.
  • Experience coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, managing action items, and preparing stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to assist with workflow improvements, process mapping, standards documentation, and adoption support.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support concurrent initiatives.

Core Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting an in-house legal department or legal operations function.
  • Experience with legal technology platforms, contract lifecycle management systems, workflow automation tools, or knowledge management solutions.
  • Certification in Project Management, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or Design Thinking.
