Overview

This is 100% remote position. CHLA requires a primary residence in California prior to start date. Will require on-site visits for monthly meetings as needed.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Program Manager develops and directs programs in accordance with strategic initiatives established by Care Network leadership, with primary responsibility for CHAMPS (Children's Health Alliance of Medical Providers), the Care Network's provider contracting program. CHAMPS supports participating providers through payer contracting, provider enrollment, reimbursement advocacy, and practice support services. The Program Manager serves as a key operational lead for CHAMPS activities, working collaboratively with participating practices, health plans, and internal stakeholders to support network operations, provider engagement, and program growth. Together, the Care Network and CHAMPS strengthen partnerships with community pediatricians while improving access, coordination, quality, and value of care for children. This role represents the interests of the Care Network when collaborating with internal departments, external partners, and organizational committees. The Program Manager assists with setting strategy for the relevant programs, facilitating program and policy development and budgeting, and tracks outcomes for continuous improvement of the programs. The position is responsible for data collection, analysis, and interpretation, as well as developing action plans based on key findings. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing the provider experience and supporting the continued growth and success of the Care Network and CHAMPS programs.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Required:
  • 5 years of experience managing projects.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using PC-based spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Must have the ability to work collegially and collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred:
  • Experience in healthcare administration, provider network operations, managed care, payer contracting, credentialing, provider enrollment, or physician practice management.
  • Experience working with physicians, medical groups, health plans, or provider networks.
  • Experience with contract management and healthcare reimbursement processes.
Education/Licensure/Certifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, or High School Diploma plus 8 years of experience.
Preferred:
  • Graduate degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.


Pay Scale Information

$85,654.40-$114,192.00
