Program Management Snr Manager - Platform Planning

Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Program Management Senior Manager to lead the Platform Planning team responsible for integrated business planning across OCI's GPU, Compute, and Storage platforms.

This leader is responsible for driving operational excellence across the platform planning process by ensuring Oracle's strategic business objectives are translated into executable demand, supply, and deployment plans that support OCI's rapidly expanding global cloud infrastructure.

Working across Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Data Center Operations, this role ensures planning decisions are aligned, executable, and operationally resilient.

The Program Management Senior Manager serves as the operational planning leader responsible for integrating business priorities, demand forecasts, supplier collaboration, inventory strategy, planning systems, and manufacturing readiness into scalable planning processes that support global infrastructure deployment. Success in this role requires the ability to evaluate planning assumptions, translate complex business and operational challenges into actionable planning strategies, and communicate clear recommendations that enable informed decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate possesses strong experience across demand planning and supply planning disciplines, understands Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP), and has successfully led planning teams within highly complex, fast-paced global supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Planning
  • Lead end-to-end platform planning for OCI Compute, Storage, and AI infrastructure, ensuring strategic business priorities translate into executable demand, supply, and deployment plans.
  • Drive integrated planning across Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Data Center Operations to balance customer demand, supply continuity, inventory investment, and deployment readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, and Capacity Planning to align platform priorities, demand signals, supply readiness, and deployment objectives for new platform introductions.
  • Lead scenario planning and operational decision-making by evaluating demand variability, supplier constraints, manufacturing capacity, and deployment risks while recommending data-driven planning strategies.
  • Own planning governance by ensuring planning assumptions, forecasts, master data, ERP/MRP systems, and planning processes support accurate, scalable, and operationally resilient execution.
  • Champion continuous improvement of planning processes, systems, automation, analytics, and executive reporting to improve forecast accuracy, operational efficiency, inventory optimization, and planning effectiveness.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead planning activities across Engineering, Product Management, Capacity Planning, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Data Center Operations.
  • Develop executive-ready planning materials that synthesize complex business and operational issues into concise planning assumptions, risks, tradeoff analyses, recommendations, and operational impacts.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning reviews that align business priorities with operational capabilities, supplier readiness, manufacturing execution, and deployment schedules.
  • Challenge planning assumptions, identify operational risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and recommend mitigation strategies that support informed business decisions.
  • Build strong partnerships across highly matrixed organizations while driving alignment between strategic planning objectives and operational execution.


People Leadership
  • Lead and develop a high-performing planning organization responsible for operational planning, supplier collaboration, planning systems, and supply planning execution.
  • Build organizational capability across demand planning, supply planning, planning analytics, scenario analysis, and integrated business planning.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering career growth and strengthening OCI's long-term planning capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Plan and direct team priorities, resource allocation, and organizational development to ensure successful execution of business objectives.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, materials planning, capacity planning, integrated business planning, or related supply chain functions within complex global organizations.
  • 4+ years of experience leading planning teams or managing large cross-functional planning initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, validating, and operationalizing demand plans while translating those plans into executable supply and operational plans.
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S&OP/SIOP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory strategy, capacity planning, and supplier collaboration.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, and enterprise planning platforms such as Oracle Cloud SCM, SAP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in forecasting, scenario planning, planning analytics, and executive reporting.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional organizations across Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex planning strategies and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership, people management, and organizational development experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting hyperscale cloud infrastructure, data center operations, AI infrastructure, server platforms, storage platforms, or semiconductor supply chains.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, supplier planning, and global manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with server hardware, rack architecture, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience leading planning transformation initiatives, enterprise planning system implementations, or process improvement programs.
  • Experience developing planning automation, forecasting models, business intelligence solutions, or advanced planning analytics.
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or Business is a plus.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
