Full Job Description
Job Title: Product Strategy & Ownership

Location(s): New York, NY

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for research and measurement-focused data products.
  • Translate business, analytics, and measurement requirements into product specifications, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Align product initiatives with enterprise-wide data, analytics, and business intelligence objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end analytics data lifecycle including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with Research and Analytics stakeholders to ensure metrics, methodologies, and reporting standards align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Drive innovation initiatives leveraging AI, automation, and intelligent agent-based solutions to improve operational efficiency and data insights.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, validation rules, reconciliation processes, and governance practices.
  • Partner with Data Governance teams to maintain metadata management, semantic layers, and enterprise data definitions.
  • Support integration with enterprise data mesh and governance frameworks.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering and Platform teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance analytics solutions.
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate product outputs against business expectations and data quality requirements.
  • Proactively manage risks related to evolving metrics, source system changes, vendor updates, and reporting dependencies.
  • Present roadmap updates, delivery progress, and business impact to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Act as the central liaison between Analytics, Research, Marketing, Programming, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive product adoption through intuitive solutions, documentation, training, and continuous feedback incorporation.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong experience in Product Ownership, Product Strategy, or Data Product Management.
  • Experience working with analytics, research, measurement, or media data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and analytics ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, semantic modeling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in media, advertising, audience measurement, or research analytics domains.
  • Exposure to AI-driven analytics, automation frameworks, or intelligent workflow solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms and enterprise data ecosystems.
