Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking hardware products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • Experience as a developer of large-scale infrastructure products with an understanding of AI hardware and infrastructure technologies and trends, including GPU, CPUs, Storage, Networking.
  • Experience managing and launching technical products and features with the track record particularly in the hardware and infrastructure domain.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Define the long-term goal, strategy, and roadmap for the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Hardware portfolio including AI Infrastructure General Purpose Compute (GPU), Storage and Networking, aligning it with overall GDC goals, market trends, and customer needs, and GTM strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, and sales teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to landing.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of product managers, overseeing their performance and development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and translate them into actionable product improvement.
  • Identify and address technical risks, infrastructure bottlenecks, and scaling challenges.
