InvoiceCloud is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive execution and growth across our insurance vertical. This role is responsible for deeply understanding insurance biller and payer needs, defining clear business requirements, and ensuring solutions reflect evolving market demands. The Product Manager owns day-to-day roadmap execution and acts as the primary subject matter expert for insurance payment workflows.

The Senior Product Manager serves as a key product representative across Engineering, Integrations, Implementations, Customer Success, Sales, and Product Marketing. This role shapes roadmap priorities, champions customer launches, and drives cross-functional alignment around product direction and measurable business outcomes across insurance payment workflows.

Ownership
  • Owns and prioritizes the Insurance product backlog, ensuring prioritization is clear, defensible, and tied directly to insurance biller outcomes and InvoiceCloud business goals.
  • Maintains and communicates the Insurance roadmap, keeping Engineering, Design, and GTM teams aligned on prioritization rationale, sequencing decisions, and expected outcomes.
  • Writes clear, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that guide Engineering and UX delivery.
  • Ensures product documentation, requirements, and internal inputs reduce rework and support efficient execution.
  • Mentors and guides product managers and cross-functional partners, raising overall product discipline, discovery quality, and delivery consistency across the insurance vertical.

  • Partners closely with Engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to streamline delivery and reduce cycle time.
  • Strengthens operational readiness by ensuring teams have clarity, assets, and context required to execute effectively.

  • Supports customer launches by aligning product readiness with implementation, integration, and enablement needs.

  • Surfaces emerging insurance-specific market opportunities and workflow challenges, bringing well-researched recommendations to the team and partnering with Engineering and UX to build differentiated solutions.
  • Leverages GenAI to accelerate user story creation, analyze customer feedback at scale, and surface actionable insights.
  • Monitors emerging trends in insurance, payments, and digital adoption to inform long-term product direction.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of insurance or vertical SaaS product management experience with direct ownership of a product area, vertical, or payment workflow
  • Experience in insurance, payments, EBPP, or operationally complex B2B SaaS environments; deep familiarity with insurance biller and payer workflows is a strong plus
  • Experience using product analytics (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) and data tools (Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) to inform prioritization and evaluate outcomes
  • Active, daily fluency with AI tools in your product work - you already use them for research, drafting, and synthesis and can describe specifically how
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate priorities and execution detail clearly to Engineering, UX, Customer Success, and cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to product excellence
  • Experience managing a backlog and collaborating with Engineering and Design leads; strong written communication - your specs, briefs, and stakeholder updates are clear and don't require a follow-up meeting to interpret
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping capabilities that drove measurable adoption and customer outcomes; you can tell the story of what you shipped, what you measured, and what happened
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
