Job SummaryThe Product Manager is responsible for end-to-end ownership of assigned enterprise products within the Data & Analytics domain. This role ensures products remain strategically aligned, financially transparent, operationally sound, and effectively governed throughout their lifecycle.
The Product Manager serves as the primary point of contact across product strategy, roadmap planning, vendor and contract management, financial oversight, governance, and stakeholder engagement. The role partners closely with engineering, operations, architecture, finance, sourcing, procurement, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Own and maintain multi-year product roadmaps aligned with enterprise Data & Analytics strategy, architectural direction, and leadership priorities.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, including enhancements, upgrades, platform evolution, and end-of-life planning.
- Maintain a strategic view of product demand and backlog.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and architecture teams to prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and long-term platform sustainability.
- Define and oversee product operating and support models, ensuring clear ownership, appropriate coverage, and alignment with service expectations and contractual obligations.
- Manage products from a governance and catalog perspective, ensuring accurate representation within enterprise product catalogs.
- Establish and maintain a clearly understood end-to-end product provisioning lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of vendor offerings, product roadmaps, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Support contract renewals, extensions, and negotiations in partnership with sourcing and procurement teams.
- Proactively identify and manage product lifecycle, pricing, vendor, and commercial risks.
- Manage product financials, including pricing models, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), chargeback/showback, and cost allocation.
- Validate product usage volumes and costs and support financial planning, forecasting, and modeling activities.
- Respond to business unit inquiries related to product costs and financial allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product stakeholders and users.
- Gather and evaluate stakeholder feedback and incorporate relevant input into prioritization and investment decisions.
- Communicate product roadmaps, lifecycle changes, enhancements, and other important updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across technical, operational, financial, and business teams to ensure successful product management and governance.
Required Qualifications- Experience managing enterprise products throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap development, demand management, and backlog prioritization.
- Experience coordinating with engineering, operations, architecture, finance, sourcing, procurement, and business teams.
- Knowledge of product operating models, support structures, governance, and provisioning processes.
- Experience with vendor and contract management, including renewals, commercial considerations, and vendor lifecycle management.
- Understanding of product financial management, including pricing models, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), cost allocation, and chargeback/showback models.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to evaluate competing priorities based on business value, risk, and long-term product sustainability.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience managing enterprise products within a Data & Analytics environment.
- Experience supporting financial planning, modeling, and product cost analysis.
- Familiarity with enterprise product catalogs and governance frameworks.
