Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Overview

Join Corning's Plug and Play, Americas team as a Product Line Associate at the intersection of data, operations, and commercial execution. You will own the analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination that keeps a high-velocity product portfolio on track - translating data into decisions that grow market share and optimize portfolio efficiency. This role works closely with Product Line Specialists and the Regional Product Team, with broad reach across supply chain, customer service, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis
  • Consolidate and analyze forecast data for monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SiOP) and Consensus Forecast meetings; maintain daily backlog reporting that surfaces high-priority actions.
  • Prepare financial and sales analyses to support product line strategy, pricing reviews, and annual operating plan deliverables.

Product Line Operations
  • Lead weekly Operations and Capacity review meetings with Product Line Management (PLM), Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure On-Time-to-Promise (OTP) and Promised Lead Time (PLT) targets are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Implementation, and Planning teams to align commercial and operational priorities; support the Data Management Organization (DMO) on ordering processes and part number management.
  • Manage quarterly Variable Configurator (VC) reviews to keep product systems current; maintain and refresh product line collateral (spec sheets, videos, SOPs) and communicate portfolio updates to Customer Service, Applications Engineering, Engineering Services, and Sales.
  • Build expertise in industry, customer, and regulatory standards; support key strategic initiatives and maintain centralized documentation for portfolio updates.


Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain with 3 - 5 years experience in project management, supply chain, customer service, or similar.
  • Systems experience in SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated work experience communicating with cross-functional teams, project management experience, and data or financial analysis.

The range for this position is $81,107.00 - $111,523.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
