This role will also contribute to AI-first insight generation across the organization by using AI tooling, automated workflows, and repeatable analytical frameworks to accelerate discovery, improve self-service decision-making, and make product insights more accessible to stakeholders while maintaining strong analytical rigor.

You'll work across the analytics stack, including, Sigma, Amplitude, Snowflake, Claude/OpenAI, and dbt while partnering on data quality, event instrumentation, experimentation, and product measurement. While the primary focus is product analytics, this role may also support broader stakeholder needs across financial, accounting, marketplace, and enterprise functions as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze product performance and user behavior across core Fanatics Collect journeys, including browsing, buying, bidding, selling, vault onboarding, portfolio management, shipping, offers, conversion, and retention.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and business stakeholders to define success metrics, establish measurement frameworks, and evaluate the impact of new features, experiments, and product changes.
  • Conduct analyses that identify opportunities to improve marketplace performance, customer engagement, seller outcomes, buyer conversion, vault adoption, and the overall product experience.
  • Build and maintain trusted dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics in Sigma, Amplitude, and related tools to support product and business decision-making.
  • Partner with data engineering and analytics engineering to improve data pipelines, event instrumentation, semantic layers, metric consistency, and accessibility of product data.
  • Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate insight generation, automate repetitive analytical tasks, summarize trends, and help stakeholders interact with data more effectively.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives, recommendations, and decision-ready insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support cross-functional stakeholders, including finance, accounting, operations, and enterprise teams, with relevant data and reporting needs as required.

Qualifications
  • Experience in product analytics, including funnel analysis, cohort analysis, feature evaluation, retention analysis, and user behavior insights.
  • Ability to independently execute analytical projects from problem framing through recommendation, with appropriate stakeholder and leadership alignment.
  • Experience with SQL and working with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake or similar platforms.
  • Experience with analytics and BI tools such as Amplitude, Sigma, or similar platforms.
  • Experience designing, analyzing, or communicating results from A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
  • Understanding of data quality, event instrumentation, metric governance, and analytics best practices.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, finance, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable product and business insights.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve analytical productivity, automate workflows, and generate faster insights while maintaining data accuracy and analytical rigor.

Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with event-based analytics, customer journey tracking, and product instrumentation.
  • Experience supporting marketplace, auction, e-commerce, fintech, collectibles, gaming, or fan engagement platforms.
  • Experience analyzing complex user journeys involving both buyers and sellers.
