Senior Manager, Software SourcingAbout the Role
We're looking for a Senior Manager of Software Sourcing to join our Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team. This leadership role involves guiding a team of experienced sourcing professionals who manage high-value, complex software procurement deals across Adobe. Your team's work will directly build how Adobe buys, negotiates, and manages its most strategic software investments.

You will navigate commercially complex negotiations, support the growth of senior individual contributors, and represent GSS in executive-level conversations. Bring clarity to ambiguous situations, translate technical and financial complexity into actionable recommendations, and build trust with partners at every level of the organization.
What You'll Do- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior sourcing professionals, setting clear expectations and encouraging growth
- Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for complex software categories, including enterprise agreements, SaaS contracts, licensing negotiations, and renewals
- Guide your team through high-stakes commercial negotiations, structuring deal strategies, evaluating trade-offs, and presenting recommendations to executives
- Partner with engineering, finance, legal, and business leadership to translate collaborator needs into effective sourcing approaches
- Develop and deliver executive-ready analyses and presentations that distill complex deal dynamics into clear narratives
- Build and maintain positive relationships with strategic software suppliers to capture full value while managing risk
- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes, tools, and team capabilities
- Support quarterly business reviews and governance discussions with data-driven insights and forward-looking strategies
What You Bring- 8+ years of professional experience in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, consulting, finance, or related analytical fields
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing teams, developing talent, and raising performance standards
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including modeling deal scenarios and structuring complex financial recommendations
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain commercial and technical concepts clearly to various audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams while maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment
- A track record of building positive relationships across functions, influencing without authority, and navigating competing collaborator priorities
- Comfort with ambiguity and a structured approach to crafting clarity from complex information
Preferred Skills and Experience- Direct experience in software procurement, SaaS sourcing, or technology category management
- MBA, JD, or advanced degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement systems such as GEP, Coupa, or similar platforms
- Background in software licensing models, cloud contracting, and evolving technology commercial structures
- Experience with BI reporting tools, spend analytics, or data visualization platforms
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,000 -- $268,150 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $185,200 - $268,150
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
