About the role

As part of the Global Packaging Team, this role is responsible for the procurement strategy of Metals Americas, Valves, Composite cans and other packaging NAC.

This position oversees a total spend of £ 110 M and has one direct report.

Main responsibility are the development and execution of category, sourcing and supplier management strategies to achieve competitive advantage through lowest purchase cost and value improvements.

This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement.

Your responsibilities

  • Set and execute category strategy to deliver business objectives and global alignment (including Sleeves).
  • Own financial and performance outcomes: cost, forecasting, NWC, PPV, service, quality, and compliance.
  • Build a resilient, innovative, and sustainable supply chain, including risk management and supplier strategy.
  • Lead and develop teams while managing key strategic supplier relationships and stakeholder collaboration.


The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor/master's degree in business, science/engineering, supply chain or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Procurement or Supply experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven track record in handling complex portfolios.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

US salary ranges

USD $127,000.00 - $191,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
