Process Improvement Lead II
The Senior Black Belt of HERCULES will serve as a key leader, reporting under the Senior Director of Performance Improvement, in driving enterprise-wide initiatives focused on margin improvement, productivity enhancement, operational effectiveness, and sustainable financial performance. This individual will partner closely with operational, financial, and executive leaders to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, validate financial impact, and ensure operational changes translate into measurable results. The role requires a strong foundation in performance improvement methodologies, healthcare operations, and organizational transformation. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation, challenge traditional approaches, and deliver meaningful operational and financial outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines performance improvement expertise with strong financial acumen, transformation leadership, and program management capabilities. They should be comfortable navigating budgets, forecasts, P&Ls, general ledger activity, labor and non-labor expenses, productivity metrics, and financial reporting while leading large-scale change initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups. This individual must be highly analytical, skilled at translating operational performance into financial results, and experienced in governance, benefits realization, and portfolio management. Success in this role requires the ability to influence leaders at all levels, foster accountability, remove barriers to execution, and continuously identify innovative opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance performance, and support the organization's strategic and financial objectives.

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience leveraging analytics, automation, AI, and digital tools to drive performance improvement.
  • Proven ability to influence executives, physicians, and operational leaders across complex organizations.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including presenting recommendations, business cases, and performance results.
  • Performance Improvement or Operational experience background


Required Criteria

  • Master's degree•
  • Lean/PMP obtained within 6 months of hire•
  • Minimum of 7 years of healthcare experience in operations, financial/revenue cycle, and general consulting at a hospital or healthcare network•
  • Proven track record of leading major projects to successful completion: on-time completion, financial benefits realized, sustain change over multiple years•
  • Demonstrated verbal and written abilities to communicate to staff at all levels of an organization and present to and answer questions from leadership•
  • Strong team building skills•
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Salary Range:

$176,000-$195,500/Annual
